Environmental Engineer, Decatur, IL:   Research, design, plan, or perform engineering duties in the prevention, control, and remediation of environmental hazards. 

Work includes water/waste water treatment, site remediation, or pollution control. Create planning reports for IEPA and USDA loan applications for water/wastewater system improvement projects. Prepare applications and coordinate with governmental agencies for environmental clearances. Design drinking water treatment processes and watermain distribution systems. Calculate hydraulic profiles of existing and proposed water/wastewater treatment plant. Prepare drafting Plans using AutoCAD. Prepare bid schedules, addenda and technical specifications during bidding phases. Produce probable project cost estimates and present worth cost analysis tables. Prepare work orders and change orders; Review shop drawings for various water/wastewater system projects.

Position requires a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Engineering in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or foreign equivalent. Permanent U.S. work authorization required.
