Chastain provided an assessment and recommendations for improvements addressing chronic residential flooding in the Windsor Terrace/South 2nd Avenue area of the village. Scope of services included spot survey, site and watershed inspections to assess viability of stormwater runoff reduction measures, analysis of local storm sewer network for feasibility of collection and capacity improvements, and evaluation of alternative overland flow routes. Project deliverable was a report of alternative improvement measures including conceptual cost and phasing recommendations for future project implementation along with a presentation of study and final recommendations to board members. |
