Sonic Drive-In, Decatur, Illinois Chastain was the premier design firm in the Decatur area to perform the site engineering work on a "postage stamp" size piece of property in order to bring this nationally known franchise to Decatur. This $1.6 million-dollar, 2,300 square foot new indoor/outdoor Sonic Drive-In is the first location for the city. Scope of services included topographical surveys, as well as the construction layout work for the contractor. Our design team quickly provided all of the details related to site design including storm water detention, landscaping, signing, and lighting to gain permits and approvals for the owner. |
